This winter weather wise has been unpredictable to say the least. Alicia + Joel braved the cold to shoot their winter engagement shoot. And it was a lot of fun. Here is a few samples from their winter engagement shoot;

"instagram" I am always intrigued how people find me. Rosanna + David found me on Instagram and it was joy to shoot their engagement shoot and super cool that they like my shooting style from a few samples. So grateful for the opportunities that I am given.

Fall is such a beautiful (and unpredictable) time for photos. The sun is fickle and the rain can come anytime. Yet, the fall colours and light make for some of the best light and wonderful photos. So appreciate Rosanna + David's relationship and love. Excited to shoot their wedding next year.
After calling me Dennis (and apologizing) and me calling her Laurel for fun (and her responding with it at the end of the next email), I was stoked to meet and capture some photos with Lauren + Richard. A great sense of humour goes a long way :) As I always say to people who are looking to book your photographer; make sure you vibe, get along with or even like who you are hiring! It makes so much difference in the photos and your experience.
This couple was so fun and so in love it was just a blast to shoot. They booked a mini-shoot with me and in about 45 min, we captured some amazing photos. Here are a few samples from a super fun time:

This winter has been an anomaly weather wise. It was the coldest it has been all winter this week, but changed just in time for this lovely couples engagement shoot. Combined with the snow, it made for a great day shooting.
It was such a fun time connecting with these two. And I was excited to capture some wintery outdoorsy look/feel engagement photos. From the fire pit, to the open woods; we found a couple great spots to shoot around Port Hope and Newtonville. (tip for engaged couples! Never be afraid to just drive, explore what is around you. Can not say it enough that fall is a great time to shoot photos. In this post is a very cute couple Kaitlyn & Anthony. They were up for driving around a little and open to suggestions about some locations that I wanted to try. So happy they were down for staying out on a cold fall day! For this shoot, I wanted to grab not only the colours, but allow their personalities to shine though. That each location would complement them as a couple.
Cold fall day, but a lot of fun. I really enjoy getting to know my clients and allowing them to shine. I love it when their social media gets a tonne of likes and comments as they shine though the photos. To me, I am trying to capture the love and connection that is there; to grab these unique moments and translate them as creatively as I can to distinctive photos.
