The Day
There are times you can't explain why you need to say yes, but you just do. I was so glad I said (and they said) yes to their last minute wedding in downtown Toronto. Stan said he is mr. last minute and maybe he is, but they were so fully present and awesome to grab photos of. See a few samples below from last minute, but beautiful wedding...

I am the type of person that believes there is no such thing as chance. In fact, I think there are times that divinely orchestrated. While on a bus ride to the resort in Mexico, I met a couple who just happened to be going to the same wedding I was! A few cervezas and one solid Whitney Houston Song later, we were friends. When Matt + Jen asked to marry them and then do a shoot here, I was stoked to help. There was rain, wind, a double rainbow and great people.

After meeting with Olivia and Jon and hearing their story; I was so excited to be a part of their day. It was a first for me officiate and photograph, but I was happy to help. What a great day and truly an honour to be a part of.

Earlier this year, I met a wonderful couple. They were in love. They had a wonderful story and I was excited to be asked to capture their wedding day. I have been to a lot of weddings. A lot. But this one just had some real tearful, honest and loving moments that it was impossible not to hit you right in the feels. It was a great day and beautiful wedding. What do you do when the sunset is on the other side of where you need it to be? Wake up at 5:30 AM and shoot the sunrise of course! What good sports Mickey and Steph were to get up with me so early to capture some unique trash the dress photos. I might have broke my toe on a rock while scouting spots just before, was getting almost photo bombed by a whole party of Italians and manage to drop my transmitter in the water... but... so worth it.
