It was a beautiful day with beautiful people. Scott & Christine were super fun and it showed in the pictures. Coupled with the amazing weather, it was a great day for a wedding and for photos! From the first look, to the sunset at the end of the day; it was awesome.

It is always cool to see what happens when 700+ youth gather in one place, for one purpose. From ebory & ivory, to the house band, to the concert, to the awesome green rooms snacks; it was a great time of filming and photography. This post is dedicated to all the people that made Uprising 2014 a great experience.
Day 1 in the books. It was a great day of filming and photos. Seeing over 700+ youth gather in one place is always a cool thing. I am looking forward to seeing the great video and photos from this weekend.

Concepts. It's how my brain works.
In the beginning stages of meeting with clients, I always start with a blank canvas and as we talk, and expand on ideas, the picture, the concept begins to take shape. When I met with the guys from Lightfall, I had a vision in my mind of somehow getting literally,"light to fall". From old buildings and bridges, to capturing the sun at just the right time.
It was just the right mix of timing and weather that worked really well. The guys were awesome and had a great time (which made it easy to shoot!) They have a E.P release party on June 20. For more info, head over to http://www.lightfallworship.com/
A few months back, Chris and Ruth booked me for their special day and wanted their engagement shoot to be when the weather was warmer (which took forever!) Today the weather was perfect and I had planned a unique photo-shoot with funky locations and lots of colour. I was stoked as they lovely couple were up for it.
We made a quick trip downtown Bowmanville and then headed out to some random abandoned buildings for something different. Chris & ruth were great and it really showed in the photos.
