The Barry Family - Bowmanville, ON

A while ago I met these lovely people and today I got to do a mini session with them @ the visiting carnival in Bowmanville!

It is a small carnival, but it is always fun playing some games with the kids and seeing what you can win. And if all else fails, take a ride on the train!

The lights, the games and the fun you can have; makes this a great back drop for some fun family photos.

I even had a moment to grab a moment between mom & dad!

Justin & Sherelle's Surprise Engagement - Mississauga, ON

"So I want to surprise her," is what Justin told me, and he accomplished that!

It was great to be a co-conspirator with Justin, to see this engagement/engagement shoot happen. As I posed as a random tourist, I was able to grab the moment Justin popped the question.

After Sherelle said yes! We started with the shoot. It was really fun and They were both up for anything. It made for some great photos as we combined nature with an urban feel.

Wishing Justin & Sherelle all the best! You guys were a lot of fun to shoot with and I know you will have lots more laughs to come.

Larsen (Prihoda) Family Shoot - Mississauga, ON

A few months back Lindsay emailed and wanted to do a family shoot for her mom as a surprise for her birthday! It was a great idea and I was super happy to help. The only thing is that it has been freezing outside and winter seems to be refusing to go way. I was able to get The Living Arts Centre in Mississauga and it was the perfect venue for this shoot.

It was a lot of fun and the family were awesome. We maybe did some photo bombs as well! They were up for anything and even the little guy was super cooperative!

I think mom aka grandma, was happy! I may have overheard that she wants to cover her wall with photos. Well, Happy birthday! I am Glad I could be a small part of helping make your day special.

Pete & Sarah: Featured - Toronto, ON

Finally I have been able to sit down at my computer and post images that have sat for a while. I did a sneak peak of Pete & Sarah's engagement shoot a while ago, but I wanted to do a feature to showcase them and how fun their photos were.

It is always great when the couple is up for anything. It was a great day to shoot and with the fall colours made for some great contrast. Combined with their choice outfits, it made for some great photos.

Melina's cover shoot - Bowmanville, On

"Cover shoot? I'm in!"

That was the conversation last week as Melina messaged me about doing a photo shoot for the Albanian magazine she was going to be on the cover for. She was looking for some creative looks and a photographer that was up for the challenge.

After a few more messages later, I had an idea of location and started thinking about what I wanted the end result to look like. There is a really cool spot in Bowmanville that I like shooting in. It is this old building that is over 50 years old that has vintage looking walls and windows that you can't find much of anymore outside of the city.

When we started shooting, Melina told me that a previous photographer she had a shoot with said her smile was difficult to work with. This made me accept the challenge and also wanting to express how sad that it is. As photographers, it is our job to help our clients have images that are true expressions of who they are. To say that to a client means to me means that you missed the moment and I made it my goal to get a great full smile from Melina!

I am excited to see how the cover and the magazine article turns out! Hopefully I can get a copy! The shoot was a lot of fun and I wish Melina all the best as she continues to grow as a person and worship leader at her church!
