I really enjoy when my clients book an engagement session as part of their wedding day package! I get know them more, hear some of their story, get to feel out there comfort zone and style. When it came to their day, I was excited to capture their day in their style. When you combine a great couple with a beautiful venue, it is a great day! Here is a sneak peek at their special day...

What a day! This couple might have stole a little of my heart. Great families, great people. It was just a beautiful time getting to be with them on their special day and to help capture images that they will enjoy for a long time. Hannah mentioned to me she loved the more dark look/feel to her photos while keeping them clean and I was super excited to try and keep that theme for their day.

I am having a hard time to describe what a great time I had with this couple, the family/friends and all the wedding party. It was such a great time.
When I met with Mickey & Steph months ago and listened to their negative experiences with finding a wedding photographer I just wanted to help and offer any knowledge I could. When they booked with me, I was stoked. I was excited to try something new, in a new place, but more so to help them get the images that they would be happy with and love forever.

There are so many images I could post... From this one above (@5:30am) or the many fun shots from the dance party and all the craziness on the boat ride a few days later. The truth is, I love being a part of something special and this wedding, this group, this trip and this couple are just that... special.

Not sure if there are any tragically hip fans out there, but every time I book a wedding or shoot in Bobcaygeon, I always sing the song! It was such a fun day with this couple. It was crazy hot, but it was a blast. They were very easy going and were a lot of fun to hang out with for the day. Here is a little sneak peek...
This winter has been an anomaly weather wise. It was the coldest it has been all winter this week, but changed just in time for this lovely couples engagement shoot. Combined with the snow, it made for a great day shooting.
It was such a fun time connecting with these two. And I was excited to capture some wintery outdoorsy look/feel engagement photos. From the fire pit, to the open woods; we found a couple great spots to shoot around Port Hope and Newtonville. (tip for engaged couples! Never be afraid to just drive, explore what is around you. You never know what you will find) Here are a few samples from our super fun photoshoot...
