I have been looking forward to this day for a lot of reasons, but mainly because I was excited to see two great people unite to begin a life long journey together. Capturing these days is a great part of what I do. I get to freeze moments that are one of a kind and hopefully be seen for years to come.

This is just a small sampling of a great day. So happy for these two and the families.

I remember hearing that this day had a 80% chance of rain. I was prepared to be soaked and looking for other options to shoot. However there was a different plan. It didn't rain until 8:00 pm or so. Maybe it was just the weather. Maybe. But sometimes I think love can conquer more than we think.

Daryl & Sarah Wedding - Camp Manitou, ON

I know I mentioned it before, but I have to say that this year I have some great clients and locations! After talking with Daryl & Sarah about their day, I was so excited to shoot their wedding. As a creative, I really enjoy the way couples can personalize your weddings so much easier now. Couples are more free to create a day that they will enjoy so much and have a touch that in uniquely them. This wedding was just that, an expression of the couple; beautiful, lovely and adventurous.

The Bride is taking the plunge literally!

This was a lovely day and I was glad to be a part of it. This is just a small sample of the detail and thought put into this day and I can only hope to capture it as unique as they are. All the best Daryl and Sarah! Have a great time exploring the world!

Mark & Hannah's Wedding - Skyloft Resort Uxbridge, ON

Fall weddings are beautiful. They can be hit or miss with the weather, but this day was gorgeous. A perfect day for Mark & Hannah. As well, the location for their wedding was a great one and despite my car breaking down, it was a great day.

Autumn is a beautiful time for pictures and when you combine great weather with good people, the results are awesome. All the best Mark & Hannah.

Trash the Dress ft. Lisa - Leamington, ON

Trash the dress shoots are becoming more popular. Some brides are now buying two dresses to use; one on the day of the wedding and one to trash! Most of the trash the dress shoots I have done, have been just a few weeks after the wedding. The bride and the groom are refreshed and ready to go. However for this shoot, Lisa's wedding was 5 years and a kid ago!

Autumn is a great time to shoot photos. I wanted to capture the colours and use them to complement Lisa and her dress. As well, let Lisa have fun with it! From the Cowboy Boots to her shawl that has been in the family for years; it was a fun shoot.

But, what would a trash the dress be without a visit to some beach or water? Even if it was randomly hailing and raining! Lisa was a great sport and as a result, we ended up with some great shots.

Thanks to Lisa for being awesome and going along with my ideas.
