It is great to watch when people go after their passions and do what is in their heart. This shoot was for someone who is doing just that. Sacha contacted me because she needed some updated pictures for her new album and website and I was glad I could help. As it turns out, the day and the location were perfect. 

The ranch provided lot of opportunity for different looks, outfits and lighting. It was the perfect backdrop to showcase Sacha and her look(s).

Christine's Trash the Dress - Bowmanville, ON

It is always fun to do a trash the dress shoot. Whether it's jumping in a swimming pool, in to a bunch of paint or simply going places and not worrying about if you get your dress dirty! Either way, trash the dress shoots are unique opportunities to try new things, have fun and get some great photos! When Christine booked her wedding, she wanted a trash the dress and so we planned for it! 

The weather was great, the water was cold, but the couple were awesome!

Brad & Laura's Wedding - Brampton, ON

There is a real formula for wedding pictures where you can't go wrong; great couple, great weather and a fun bridal party! This wedding had all of those! From the wedding morning Starbucks run, to the sweet older lady on the dance floor, this was a great day from start to finish with lots to capture.

The Wigmore Family - Bowmanville, ON

Family photos can be awesome. From kids personalities shining through to just the randomness of what happens when you try to get them to look at the camera! Amy contacted me about doing a family photo shoot for their mothers day & fathers day gift to her parents from their children. Great idea. It is great to see generations gather for fun family photos. 

I personally love the combination of candid and posed photography. From random cute painted toenails, to grandpa carrying his little grandson candids are awesome. But the addition of some poses are great and adds the variety that makes the shoot complete. 

Great time shooting this family today. 

Lightfall EP Release - Ajax, ON

After shooting some band promo a few months back, Lightfall asked if I would come out to their EP release to capture some film and photos. I always love the opportunity to be creative and see what new venues look like, so I was in.  For this shoot, I was looking for depth and feel through black and white. With low light and LED panels, it was interesting to see what I could come up with. 

Little did I know that this Ep release would do so well! As I write this, Lightfall's EP release is the top selling worship album on iTunes and currently in the top 100 overall!
